Excursion to one of the most beautiful national parks in Spain - Benifasa and a lake - a dam on the river La Senia. Now it is the most popular route for ecotourists all over the east coast of Spain. It was completely reconstructed in 1976, which keeps a very important fragment of the history of Spain from 1273. It was in this year that a document was found with the decree of a local vassal on the construction of a mill on man-made canals created for irrigation of fields. But it was the construction of this mill that led to a number of disagreements between the cities of Senia, Uldekon and Alkanar, and in 1330 these disagreements almost turned into a war between cities. But in 1332 Bishop Berenguer de Prats created a decree on the use of river water, in which he established a regime for taking water from the canals and painted the rationality of using water up to the last drop. Thanks to this decree, for many centuries these cities had no failures in water supply and the agrarian industry flourished. And in 1867, at a general meeting, a decision was made to build the first stage of the dam. But the history of this place only emphasizes the importance of the object, but can not in any way describe the beauty and diversity of the flora and fauna located on 3000 hectares, now a national reserve. This place still contains a lot of stories about which the inhabitants of these places tell. But more and more these places attract tourists from all over the world to enjoy the indescribable beauty of the ecosystem formed around the dam on the river LA SENIA.
